WHO IS FOCUS GROUP BY SCHLESINGER?
Focus Group, by Schlesinger, is a Schlesinger Group online community. It is comprised of people like you who are interested in sharing their opinions and views on a variety of topics to help influence the development of technology, food, healthcare and much more.
Members of Focus Group by Schlesinger participate in research studies in a variety of ways:
- In person at one of our 16 offices across the US
- On the telephone
- Online from a computer anywhere in the world

WHO CAN JOIN?
The process is simple, free and only takes a few minutes; you must be 18 years old to register. Click here to become a member. You may only join the panel once. Schlesinger Group reserves the right to refuse any membership applications not in accordance with our terms.
WHAT WILL BE ASKED WHEN I'M REGISTERING?
You will be asked for some basic information and will be able to create your own personal login and password. Once your profile is complete, we can begin matching your lifestyle, and interests, to one of the thousands of research studies we conduct each year. When we find a study that fits your profile we will contact you either by email or phone, to see if you qualify.
HOW DO I UPDATE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Updating your information is simple, login to your account and click the ‘My Profile” link. Once your profile is updated we can match your updated lifestyle and interests to one of the thousands of research studies we conduct.
WHY DIDN'T I QUALIFY FOR THE SURVEY?
We conduct thousands of survey targeting different ages, industries, regions and characteristics. Unfortunately you will not qualify for every survey we do, but we do our best to match you with surveys that closely match your lifestyle and interests. Sometimes we have more members respond than expected and reach our quota for the survey quickly. We recommend your try and take the survey as soon as your receive the notification.
CAN I STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF A SURVEY AND FINISH IT LATER?
There will be surveys that allow you to stop and proceed at a later point in time, but there will also be surveys that will not allow this. Our system will alert you of the process and what is allowed at any point in time. Also, most of our surveys will not allow you to go back and change answers to questions. We encourage you to take your time and reach each question before answering.
WILL YOU SHARE MY INFORMATION WITH OTHER COMPANIES?
DO YOU GET PAID FOR PARTICIPATING?
Yes. You can earn Rewards points or Visa Debit cards, for participating in online, and in-person, studies. All incentives should be received within 6-8 weeks of participation depending on the length a study is open.
IS MY INCENTIVE TAXABLE?
Yes. You will be responsible for the payment of any taxes that may be due as a result of payments that you receive from us. We will issue an IRS form 1099 to any member who receives $600.00 (or the then current minimum amount established by the IRS for 1099 reporting) or more in payments from any one of our facilities in a year.
WHAT ARE FOCUS GROUP BY SCHLESINGER REWARD POINTS?
Focus Group by Schlesinger Reward points are Focus Groups’ virtual currency, every 100 points have a value of $1. These points never expire, as long as you’re an active member of the Focus Group community. This means that as long as you have any survey/community participation within a year from your previous survey/community participation, your points will be valid and you can either redeem or continue to collect for higher incentive rewards.
HOW DO I REDEEM FOCUS GROUP BY SCHLESINGER REWARD POINTS?
Focus Group Reward points can be redeemed once a community member has reached 1,000 points, and they must be redeemed online. Once you have accumulated enough Focus Group Reward points you can redeem them for a number of fantastic rewards, in denominations ranging from $5 to $100 depending on your points balance at any time.
